Mumbai Police have uncovered a chilling plot hatched by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang to assassinate Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The incident, in which gunfire erupted outside Khan’s Bandra residence on April 14, was allegedly masterminded by Bishnoi himself, as detailed in a comprehensive 350-page chargesheet recently filed in the Panvel magistrate court.
According to police findings, the notorious gang, led by Lawrence Bishnoi, meticulously planned the assassination using sophisticated weapons smuggled from Pakistan, including AK-47s. Reports suggest Bishnoi offered a whopping ₹25 lakh contract for Khan’s killing, with communication among gang members tightly controlled through a secure WhatsApp group. Among those implicated are Bishnoi’s cousin in Canada, Anmol Bishnoi, and associates Goldy Brar, Ajay Kashyap, Vinod Bhatia, Vaspi Mehmood Khan (known as China), and Rizwan Hassan Khan.
The chargesheet names the five accused: Dhananjay Tapsingh alias Ajay Kashyap (28), Gautam Vinod Bhatia (29), Vaspi Mehmood Khan alias China (36), Rizwan Hassan alias Javed Khan (25), and Deepak Hawasingh alias John Walmiki (30). It reveals that Sukha Shooter and Dogar from Pakistan were the alleged suppliers of the weapons used in the plot. Ajay Kashyap, one of the accused, even went as far as renting a residence near Khan’s Panvel farmhouse to conduct extensive surveillance. The gang members meticulously studied various locations frequented by the actor, including his Bandra residence and Film City in Goregaon.
This chargesheet not only represents a significant breakthrough in the investigation but also exposes the detailed planning and international connections behind the audacious attempt on Salman Khan’s life.
