A tennis legend, Serena Williams, beat all odds to make it to the US Open quarter finals. And it’s not that she had it easy. Her road to recovery, post childbirth, was complicated with health issues, life-threatening blood clots, emotional struggles as a new mother and the difficulty of striking a balance between a career and her daughter.
Yet, she put all this behind her and trained to regain fitness, mental stability and returned to the court, like a hurricane.
A whole new power boost to women’s strength and confidence that nothing is impossible. However, even though she has achieved a new landmark, Williams, on numerous occasions, has said that it wasn’t easy to return post pregnancy.
