FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found that the images in question are old and not from India.
We ran all the images through a Reverse Image Search and found that they were taken in 2016.
The first image was shared in an article by Hindustan Times, dated September 14, 2016, with a headline: “Civic mess on Eid: A ‘river of blood’ ran through Dhaka after heavy rainfall.”
We found the second image in an article by India TV News. As per the article, the image was taken when the roads were flooded with rainwater mixed with animal blood following Eid celebrations.
The third and the fourth images were shared in reports by ToI and Newslaundey in 2016. According to the ToI report, on Eid-ul-Azha, people sacrificed their animals in their garages and on the streets barring designated places allotted by Dhaka’s corporation. This followed by heavy rains flooded the streets with bloody water.
Thus, it is clear that the images were taken in 2016 in Bangladesh, NOT recent ones from West Bengal as claimed.
