In a recent incident on Saturday night on Carter Road in Bandra, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and her driver were allegedly attacked by a mob amid accusations of rash driving. Initial reports suggested that the actress’s driver had hit three people with the vehicle, leading to injuries and subsequent anger from the crowd.
A Muslim Mob tried to lynch “Raveena Tondon” accusing her driver of rash driving, assaulting and abusing three women in Bandra, Mumbai.
The CCTV footage shows that the allegations are false and baseless.

However, a closer look at the CCTV footage uploaded on the Telly Chakkar’s YouTube channel, the society where the incident occurred revealed a different scenario. In the footage, there is no sight of assault on the elderly lady. Raveena Tandon, clad in white, is seen amidst a mob defending herself, pleading for them not to harm her. She urged people to stop recording and repeated, ‘Don’t push. Please don’t hit me.’
While one woman complained of a bleeding nose, allegations of Raveena intervening under the influence and causing head injuries were refuted by the police. They stated no formal complaints regarding assault or injuries were filed.
According to an officer from Khar Police Station, the complainant lodged a false complaint, as the footage showed Raveena’s driver merely reversing the car from the road into the society. When the family passed by, they stopped the car and engaged in an argument with the driver regarding checking for someone behind before reversing.
Horrific incident where @TandonRaveena and her driver were nearly lynched by a flash mob after being falsely implicated in a hit & run despite CCTV evidence. Hope she is safe now.

The argument escalated into abuse, prompting Raveena to intervene to understand the situation involving her driver. Contrary to claims of her being in a drunken state and physically assaulting anyone, the footage depicted Raveena attempting to defuse the situation and protect her driver from the crowd’s aggression. No injuries were recorded in the CCTV footage, disproving earlier allegations of the car hitting someone or Raveena assaulting individuals.
The actress took to Instagram to share a clarification on her stories.
The victim’s son had initially claimed that his mother was injured near Rizvi Law College in Bandra due to Raveena’s car reversing. However, investigations revealed no evidence supporting these claims. The police emphasized that strict action would be taken based on facts and evidence, rather than unsubstantiated accusations.

Kangana Ranaut has extended her support to Raveena Tandon after the video went viral. Kangana condemned the mob’s actions depicted in the viral video, which was first shared by social activist Mohsin Shaikh.
“They should not be allowed to get away with such violent and poisonous behavior,” she stated on her Instagram stories.
