Yash Raj Films’ heritage fashion brand, Diva’ni, to launch store in Pakistan

India’s first cinema inspired fashion brand, Diva’ni, is all set to open its first store in Pakistan, in Lahore. The will be the brand’s first international couture flagship store, which will open next month.
Diva’ni, which was launched in 2013, in India, is owned by Yash Raj Films and KBSH Private Limited, has become one of the largest heritage fashion houses to be born out New Delhi. Now.
Despite India and Pakistan’s stressed relationship, Bollywood is quite popular in Pakistan. The launch of the store in Pakistan will also be a significant reflection of the common heritage shared by the two nations, in regard to culture and fashion, and much more.
Sanya Dhir, Creative Director at Diva’ni said in a statement, “We are exceptionally excited to be launching in Pakistan as our region shares an appreciation for traditional art and craft, which is the heritage that Diva’ni embraces.”
As a response to this, Dhir and Shakil Zindani – CEOs at Flitz Fashion (the partner brand in Pakistan) — said in a joint statement, “there is more than one reason why Diva’ni will be very much at home in Pakistan”.
They added, “We sincerely hope that the audiences recognise that truth that Pakistan is where the luxury, design, and the genes of Diva’ni would fit in ever so effortlessly. The applause, we are sure, we will be 192 million strong as well.”
