In Delhi region, total 82 trains delayed and 23 have been rescheduled due to prevailing fog conditions.
International travel was disrupted as 4 international flights were delayed in arrival, and 3 were cancelled. Whereas, 3 domestic flights were delayed in arrival, 5 in departure and 2 cancelled due to Delhi fog.
In southern part of India, the Tamil Nadu government, in an advisory, asked people to stay indoors on Monday, with extremely heavy rainfall (20cm and above) being predicted by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) during the day as the very severe cyclonic storm Vardah makes landfall around afternoon.
