Walls of Hanuman temple lined with garlands of notes

Vadodara, Aug 27 (PTI) The walls of Kashta BhanjanHanuman temple in Tarsali area here were today strung withgarlands of currency notes. The notes added up to Rs 11 lakh. Devotees thronged Hanuman temples today as it is thelast Saturday of the month of Shravan. Rakesh Patel, president of Kashta Bhanjan Hanuman Mandal,said this tradition of decorating the temple with garlands ofnotes started three years ago. The Mandal has installed three CCTV cameras and deployedits workers to guard the walls covered in notes, he said. PTICorKRK
