Typing ‘GRATULA’ in comments will NOT give the safety status of Facebook account

Date:

A post is going viral on the social media platform Facebook which claims that CEO Mark Zuckerberg has created a new word ‘GRATULA’ and if you type it in the comment and it turns RED then it means your account is SAFE otherwise it is hacked.

The post read:

“Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO, created a new word GRATULA. To keep your account secure, type GRATULA in the comment. If Red, your account is still secure, If it does not change to red, please change your password. Your account is already hacked”

Fact Check

Well, the truth is neither Zuckerberg ‘created’ nor is this is a ‘new’ word.

‘GRATULA’ is a Hungarian word which means ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ in English and like other special words e.g. congratulations etc, Facebook colours this word also so it stands out in entire text and catches the attention of the reader.

This doesn’t prove your account has been hacked or not.
