Thane: The man who rushed the young TCS employee to hospital says he was threatened on Saturday by three men on a motorcycle. The TCS employee Swapnali Lad (24) who jumped from the auto rickshaw to escape being kidnapped is fighting for her life in a hospital near Mumbai.
The man told police the three men stopped him at the spot where she had jumped off the auto in Thane on the outskirts of Mumbai. They then threatened him and asked him why he helped Lad.
The driver who is accused of trying to kidnap the employee has not yet been found. The police have released sketches of them.
