Somnath Bharti alleges attempt to kill his pet dog

New Delhi, Aug 24 (PTI) AAP legislator Somnath Bhartitoday claimed that there was an attempt to kill his Labradorpet dog which was in the news for allegedly biting the MLA’swife. The canine named ‘Don’ is suffering from injuries on hishind leg and face. Bharti also alleged that the police is refusing toinvestigate the cause of fire that took place last month in abuilding where he resides. According to the Malviya Nagar MLA, his dog was attackedoutside his house while he was away in the Delhi LegislativeAssembly. "Someone hit my dog with a stone that has hurt one of hishind legs and his face," Bharti said. When contacted Bharti said he is yet to approach thepolice in this regard. "FIR, Jail, fake cases, attempt on my life and now attempton my dog’s life. Police had refused to investigate fire in mybuilding," the AAP MLA tweeted. "The building where I stay was gutted by a mysteriousfire. I have been asking the police to investigate the case,but to no avail," Bharti said. Bharti’s pet ‘Don’ was given a clean chit by a local courtin October last year over allegations of the canine biting hiswife Lipika. Lipika has alleged that the AAP leader had unleashed hisdog on her during her pregnancy. PTI PRKUN
