As if giving the smartphones a 48 MP camera with additional photography tools wasn’t enough, Samasung takes the photography asset on their smartphone a level higher with the 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 and 48-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GM2 sensors for ultra-high resolution mobile photography.
As Samsung notes in its official release, the two new image sensors add to the 0.8mm image sensor lineup, from the existing 20-megapixel to the higher resolutions. The sensors are expected to go in mass production in the second half of 2019.
