EAM Sushma Swaraj informed the parliament that Indian authorities are closely working with the US for a peaceful place for Indians to live.

“India is engaging with US govt. US authorities including President Donald Trump have strongly condemned these incidents,” Swaraj said.

We have been assured by US authorities that Kansas will be a peaceful place for Indians to live,” Swaraj added.

“I talked to families of Srinivas Kuchibhotla & Deep Rai, also raised these issues with highest authorities in US,” Sushma Swaraj informed the Parliament.

A Hyderabad-based engineer, Srinivas Kuchibhotla, 32, was killed in a shooting in a Kansas City bar in February, an attack that some eyewitnesses said could be racially motivated.
