Republic continues to be number one in viewership

Republic TV has once again emerged as the number one news channel in all segments with 43% viewership and 57% viewership during primetime, according to the week 21 data released by BARC (BroadcastaudienceMeasurement System) India.

The Republic has gained the top spot soon after its commencement in May. The channel continues its spree with 57% watching Arnab Goswami during prime time which is 237% more than the competition Times Now.

Republic TV 43% is followed by Time Now 32%, India Today 10%, NDTV 6.18%,CNN News18 8.7%, NewsX 3.8%.

The channel has exposed several big politicians and has managed to bring issues into the limelight with its investigative time. Arnab Goswami’s news channel is covering all the issues from the ground to enhance the credibility of the news.

Despite several cases being filed by Shashi Tharoor for defamation and Times Now for theft, the channel stands tall discarding the allegations. The debate of viewership is over now, according to the Republic TV.

Arnab Goswami thanked its viewer and took on Twitter to express his views on media. He said, “The public whining of a corporate media group that has lost the faith of the people is embarrassing”.

“News has won, money power has lost. Republic TV has won India’s heart” he added.
