Rakshabandhan Special: These Reel Life Siblings Will Make You Miss Yours

Date:

Bollywood has made a point over these years to bring out the best of reel life siblings to us as the audience!

On that note, take a look at the most fun brother-sister roles in Bollywood that still remain etched in our minds:

Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman in Hare Rama Hare Krishna

Zeenat Aman and Dev Anand were mostly seen romancing on the screen but are remembered affectionately for their role in Hare Rama Hare Krishna. They played siblings in the movie and the song ‘phoolon ka taro ka’ from the movie, is still on every rakshabandhan playlist.

Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in Dil Dhadakne Do

The two bomb shots in Dil Dhadakne Do played the most cute siblings but broke the stereotypical brother sister chemistry. Most of their scenes from the movie made us miss our siblings in one or the other way!

Aishwarya Rai and Randeep Hooda in Sarabjit

In the real-life based film , this reel life sibling pair showed us what truly love means for a sister and a brother. Randeep Hooda played the role of Sarbjit and Aish played  his sister Dalbir Kaur and it shows the story of a sister who leaves no stone unturned to get back her brother who accidentally crosses Pakistan border.

Farhan Akhtar and Divya Dutta in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

The duo were instrumental in playing backbones to each other while facing immense tragedy eand hardships around the Partition of India. The scene in which Milkha shows his sister the India coat is the best and emotional.

Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in Josh

Last but not the least, Shirley and Max were the best of all. The two were just not siblings but best friends. They might have followed it up with Mohabbatein, but we prefer this tapori revelry more!
