Mumbai: The highly anticipated teaser for Sukumar’s upcoming film, “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, was unveiled on Monday. The birthday boy, Allu Arjun, showcased a brand-new avatar in the action-packed teaser. Notably, Allu was awarded a National Film Award for his performance in the first part of the film.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Allu Arjun announced the release of the teaser. He wrote, “I thank each and everyone of you for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please take this teaser as my way of saying thank you!”
The teaser showcases Allu Arjun in his iconic role as Pushpa Raj, adorned in a saree, as he fearlessly confronts goons in his trademark style. The teaser focuses on the Jaathara sequence, a significant cultural event celebrating the Hindu Tribal goddesses, Sammakka Saralamma, observed in Telangana.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 15th, 2024. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Fasil in the lead roles.
