The President, Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the opening of the Gardens and Udyanotsav this year. The Mughal Gardens are spread over a huge area of 15 acres and are inspired by the Mughal Gardens of Jammu & Kashmir. The vast grounds receive a huge footfall each year with people lining up for a chance to walk around the Gardens.
It showcases a huge variety of flora and this year the main attraction would be the tulips that have been cultivated in the gardens and are in full bloom. 70 odd varieties of flowers have also been imported from Japan and the Netherlands.
