Manoj Kumar Bharti appointed Ambassador of lndia to Ukraine

New Delhi: Manoj Kumar Bharti, a 1988 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of lndia to Ukraine. Bharti will replace R K Chander.

He is expected to take up his assignment shortly, said a MEA press release. 

Currently Bharti is serving in Minsk as Ambassador, E/a Minsk.

Bharti, an IIT Kanpur alumni, served with MEA HQ and looked after Bangladesh and headed the E-Governance and IT Division prior to moving to Belarus (Minsk).

Bharti has worked in Indian Embassies in Tehran, The Hague, Kathmandu, Ankara and Yangon as well.
