Apple is rumoured to refresh its Mac lineup in October, but there have been no announcements of an event yet. We are now in the second half of October, and Apple is presumably too preoccupied with its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch in various countries, to think about another event. We were about to take previous reportage as just rumours and move on in life, when a fresh report arrived online, rekindling hopes of the much-awaited big refresh of the Mac lineup.
According to reports, Apple has not abandoned its plans to launch the new MacBook Pro, and is very much going to launch them this month. In fact retailers will also get the new products by the end of this month. The report also refutes Apple’s plans to kill off the MacBook Air series, and claims that only the 11-inch variant will be ditched, while the 13-inch MacBook Air will continue to live.
