Bodh Gaya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that Lord Krishna and Gautam Buddha were both two great teachers who gave importance to principles throughout their lives.
“In this symposium we have been talking about one of the most impactful teachers in world history -Gautam Buddha. His teachings have inspired millions of people over centuries,” he said.
“Lord Krishna and Gautam Buddha were two great teachers who gave importance to principles,” he added.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Bodh Gaya coincides with Day 3 of SAMVAD – the Global Hindu Buddhist Initiative on Conflict Avoidance and Environment Consciousness, during which the delegates for this event will be present at Bodh Gaya.
