Land Dispute: Man Drives Tractor Over Brother Eight Times in Rajasthan

Date:

Rajasthan: In a tragic incident in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, a man lost his life in a brutal manner during a clash between two families over a disputed piece of land.

The accused, identified as Damodar, allegedly used a tractor to crush his brother, Nirpat, to death. This horrifying act involved Damodar driving the tractor back and forth over Nirpat eight times. The police have since apprehended Damodar.

According to the report, the disagreement between Bahadur Singh and Atar Singh’s families was about a piece of land in Bharatpur. The matter turned violent when Bahadur Singh’s family arrived on a tractor at the disputed land in the morning, and Atar Singh’s family also arrived shortly after. The situation quickly escalated, and both sides started using sticks and stones. There were even reports of gunshots being fired during the altercation.

Amidst the chaos, Nirpat, one of Atar Singh’s sons, fell to the ground during the clash. Tragically, his own brother, Damodar, allegedly used the tractor to run over him repeatedly, resulting in Nirpat’s untimely demise. Even as other family members attempted to intervene, Damodar continued his brutal act.

The violent clash left nearly ten individuals injured, who are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. The police have initiated a case and detained four people for further investigation.

This incident follows a clash that occurred five days earlier, during which Bahadur Singh and his younger brother, Janak, sustained injuries. The family had filed a case against Atar Singh’s family, including Nirpat.

The BJP has criticized the ruling Congress party in Rajasthan for this gruesome event. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra called upon Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, urging her to visit Bharatpur and address the distressing incident, which has garnered significant attention due to a viral video showing the tragic incident.
