Kuldeep Yadav Shines As India Bag ODI Series Against South Africa

New Delhi: Indian bowlers dominate the game as India cease the ODI series against South Africa by registering a crucial win by seven wickets.

India won the toss and elected to bowl first in the third match. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan and side took the field as youngster Washington Sundar striked early in the match dismissing Quinton de Kock.

Kuldeep Yadav continued his top form as he picked up four wickets in the spell. Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar and Shahbaz Ahmed picked two wickets each during the spell.

South African innings was concluded in just 27 overs with 100 runs to chase in 50 overs. This was the lowest-ever target by a South African side against India in ODIs.

Shikhar Dhawan failed to capitalize the opportunity as he was dismissed by Marco Jansen for eight runs. Shreyas Iyer and Subhman Gill anchored the innings and led India to a comfortable win. Gill played a crucial knock of 49 runs while Iyer managed to score 22 runs.

With this series win, India will move ahead in the world ranking tally for the upcoming ICC World Cup scheduled next year.
