Khans do ‘Chaiya-Chaiya’ on Arpita’s reception

Date:

Mumbai: After a fairy-tale extravaganza in Hyderabad, the reception of Salman Khan’s darling sister Arpita Khan and her husband Aayush Sharma, which took place at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End Hotel on November 21, was an equally grand affair.

Salman and his family, including sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, were amongst the first ones to arrive with the newly-wed couple and posed for a perfect family picture on the red carpet.

Arpita looked gorgeous in a lemon and champagne pink lehenga-choli while her husband looked dashing in a black tuxedo. Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan graced the occasion and made their presence felt by dancing and singing along with the Khan family.

Arpita’s reception saw attendees who missed her wedding ceremony. Sonakshi Sinha, Ajay Devgn, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh were among the list of people who were a part of the celebrations. Farhan Akhtar, Zoya, veteran actor Prem Chopra, Dilip Kumar along with his better-half Saira Banu also graced the occasion.

Shah Rukh Khan, who missed the grand wedding in Hyderabad kept the media guessing if he would or wouldn’t attend the reception in Mumbai. But he did not disappoint. Although he made a quiet entry into the venue, reports suggest that the two Khans were not only chatting up a storm inside, but also danced together to SRK’s hit song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. Sonakshi Sinha and Hrithik Roshan also joined the Khans on the dance floor.
