John Lennons iconic specs on sale for £25000

London: John Lennon’s iconic spec, which he gave to a flirty girl named Wendy Baker, is up for sale and is expected to fetch £25,000 at an auction.

Wendy Baker sat with the late Beatle in a Soho Club, London in 1966. She was 27 then.

Wendy, who is now 75-years-old, said that it was hard to imagine someone as cool as the former Beatles member doing the conga, but it happened.

Darren Julien, who sells the specs in Los Angeles on November 7, said: “It is rare to find a pair of Lennon’s worn glasses.”
