Jackie Chan gets portrait made from 64000 chopsticks

Date:

Washington: A Chinese artist has made a portrait of Jackie Chan using 64,000 chopsticks for his 60th birthday.

In a video dedicated to the legendary martial artist, stuntman and actor, “Red” Hong Yi is seen constructing the portrait by hanging bundles of chopsticks vertically from a large rack, People Magazine reported.

Hong Yi said that she used disposable bamboo chopsticks to show that disposable materials can be reused and made into something else more meaningful and beautiful and spent a month collecting the chopstick from cafes, stalls and factories in Zhejiang and Beijing.

She presented Chan with the portrait at a birthday concert in Beijing on April 7.
