Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor, Arvind Kejriwal announced on Friday that Isudan Gadhvi would be the chief ministerial candidate from the party in the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022.

The name of the AAP chief ministerial candidate was announced a day after the Election Commission of India (ECI) declared the schedule for the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022.
Isudan Gadhvi is known as a TV journalist and editor of VTV News.
Gujarat assembly elections will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The counting of votes will be held on December 8 along with Himachal Prades.
