Soon after, Federer displayed his class performance during the quick-fire rallies with Belinda Bencic.
Earlier in the men’s singles, Federer gave his side a 1-0 lead with a 6-4 6-1 win over Tiafoe. However, to level the tie, Williams deafted Bencic by 4-6 6-4 6-3 in women’s singles.
