Hinduism all about love, faith and intimacy with all: Bhagwat

Lucknow, Aug 28 (PTI) RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today saidthe ideology of Hinduism is not against anyone and it is allabout love, faith and intimacy with all. "The ideology of Hinduism is not against anyone.Hindutava is not about malice or opposition, but love, faithand intimacy with all," Bhagwat said while addressingswayamsewaks at Saraswati Shishu Mandir here. His remarks assume significance against the backdrop ofseveral non-BJP parties alleging that RSS had a communalagenda and was anti-Muslim. Bhagwat said, "We work for the country. It is not aboutritualism. It is based on spiritualism and truth." He however said, "…but remaining weak is also notHindusim. Hindus should be made prosperous. Not bigotry, but asociety where there is warmth for all is needed." Bhagwat said, "Society is our God. We are here to servethe society, we should not think what we will get in return.We are working for all round development of Hindu nation. Butthere should be no arrogance that we are working for that." He said no work should be done in reaction to something,adding, Lord Buddha preached about non-violence and tolerance. "Mahabharat yudh dharma sthapana ke liye hua tha. BhagwanRam aur Bhagwan Krishna ne bhi dharm ke liye hi sab kuch kiya.Therefore every worker should work with positive attitude," hesaid. The RSS chief said that swayamsewaks would do whatever isrequired for Hindu ‘dharma’, culture and society. He said Sangh is an organisation of Hindu society. "Nothing else is required to take ‘Bharat’ to the peak ofglory than maintaining unity and integrity of the country. Weare working for praise of Bharat Mata everywhere, but thereshould be no impurity of thoughts," he said. PTI AVA ARK SKARK
