Federal Bank partners Chillr for cashless transactions

Kochi, Aug 18 (PTI) Federal Bank today announced itspartnership with with Chillr, a mobile banking application, toprovide cashless transactions. Chillr, India’s first and only multi-bank mobileapplication, allows users to connect seamlessly with multiplebank accounts and manage all their banking needs on a singleplatform, making money transfer between bank accounts easier,faster and safer than sending a text message. "All transactions on Chillr are initiated directly fromthe users’ bank accounts and authenticated by a PIN providedby their banks," Federal Bank said in statement. The Kerala-based private sector further said that "themobile banking app integrates with banks directly and providestotal security for all transactions. The easy to use app isavailable on Android, Windows and iOS operating systems." The facility is already available to all customers ofFederal Bank, it said. "We have always believed that digital services will heralda paradigm shift in banking services. The bank has alwaysstriven to be ahead of the curve by launching a bouquet of online services," Babu K A, Head of Digital Banking at FederalBank said. Sony Joy, CEO, Chillr and Co-Founder, MobME WirelessSolutions, said, "Our mission is to re-imagine banking andfinancial services in India by challenging the monopoly ofcash and Federal Bank will be a key partner in this."
