Drinking is prohibited during work hours for a reason, and an airline employee proved it after a baggage handler who was under the influence of alcohol fell asleep in the cargo hold of an American Airlines plane and ended up flying to Chicago from the US’ Kansas City.
According to local reports, Piedmont Airlines employee was working on American Flight 363 on Saturday when the Boeing 737 left Kansas City International Airport with the handler fell asleep in the cargo hold.

“He was found when the flight landed about an hour later at Chicago’s O’Hare airport,” Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi was quoted in a report. The spokesman says the handler told police he was intoxicated and had fallen asleep.
He has since been suspended from his job.
