Delhi Excise Policy Case: Businessman Dinesh Arora Turns Approver In Case

New Delhi: Amid the recent developments, businessman Dinesh Arora, one of the accused in the Delhi Excise Policy case on Monday said he is ready to make true disclosures about his role in the case and agreed to be an approver in the case.

According to a report by the ANI, he said that “I am ready to make a voluntary and true disclosure with respect to my role in the commission of the alleged offences.”

He further added “I request to be granted a pardon in this case. I have agreed without any pressure, undue influence or coaxing by CBI or any other.”

Arora’s counsel further moved an application in the court to carry-out in-camera proceedings, stating that the matter is a sensitive one.

The Court was hearing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) plea moved under 306 CrPC to make businessman Dinesh Arora, an accused, an approver/witness in the Delhi excise policy case.
