Video came to light after Sindhu Sharma’s husband filed for a divorce in the court. In his plea, the retired judge’s son claimed that he was innocent and that he wanted his marriage with Sindhu Sharma to be dissolved. Sindhu then furnished the said footage to show how she had been beaten before two small children (aged about two and four, respectively) seen in the frame as they too try to free Sindhu from the abuse.

Sharma then brought forth the CCTV footage of her being assaulted. In the video of the incident, Sharma’s mother-in-law is seen signalling her to get out of the house as her father-in-law walks in her direction. Her husband is seen standing near the main door of the house. Pet dog of the family is also seen sitting in the same room.

As far as the status of the case is concerned, only serving a notice under Section 41 CrPC to Nooty Ramamohana Rao was left. The next hearing is scheduled for September 23.”
