Class 6 girl stabs a junior as she wanted school to declare a holiday

Date:

A chilling case has just been reported from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh where a Class 1 student was attacked in a school with a knife by a girl who is his senior. A Class 6 girl called the six-year-old boy, took him to the toilet and allegedly attacked him with a kitchen knife, said the police on Tuesday morning.

The six-year-old boy, who was attacked, gave a statement to the police claiming that the 11-year-old girl told him, “If I attack you and harm you, only then will the school announce a holiday.”

The shocking incident happened at the Brightland School toilet where the security cameras allegedly didn’t cover it, as they should have. Reports claim that the principal allegedly hid the incident for a day, however, now the principal has been arrested for negligence.

“Hair has been found on the boy that matches the girl’s hair. We have sent it for DNA profiling. The incident involves children, so we will bring the matter before a juvenile justice board,” said senior police officer Deepak Kumar.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to the hospital to visit the boy, who sustained deep wounds to the chest and stomach, though he is out of danger now.

“I was informed by the school that my son is injured, that he has been attacked with a knife by a girl,” said the boy’s father.

As the news of the attack began to spread, many parents panicked concerning the safety of their children. They accused school’s officials of attempting to hush up the case.

Veena Vyas, Director of the school said, “I am taking all the precautions in view of Ryan International school case. We are also looking at whether it is due to the deadly game ‘Blue Whale Challenge’.”
