Cinderella tops international box-office with $62.4M earnings

 

Washington: Walt Disney Pictures’ ‘ Cinderella’ has topped the International Box Officeafter grossing 62.4 million dollars.

The latest flick of the popular fairy tale was estimated to earn 62.4 million dollars, but it turned out to be a record breaker with 25 million dollars in China, 7.3 million dollars in Russia.

The Lily James starrer movie was 17 percent higher than the ‘Oz, The Great And Powerful’ which opened two years ago in essentially the same corridor with 69 million dollars in 46 markets, and topped out at 258.4 million dollars internationally.

On the other hand, Warner Bros.’ ‘Run All Night’ raked-in 6.6 million dollars whereas Universal Pictures’ ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ cracked studio’s Top 10.
