New Delhi: There’s a busy bee who’s making the most of his time outside the jail premises. No prizes for guessing, it’s ‘Dabangg’ star Salman Khan. Â
Salman, who has lost no time getting back to work following the suspension of his recently announced five-year jail term – will perform live at the debut Arab Indo Bollywood Awards.
Just a couple of days back, it was reported that Salman was heading towards Kashmir to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
The AIBA 2015 event that is organized by Benchmark, in association with Al Bustan Group, will be held at Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse onMay 29.
However, in order to attend the event, Salman will need to seek permission from the authorities to travel outside India.
Interestingly, Khan will lead a line-up of top actors scheduled to perform at the AIBA, including Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, Neha Dhupia and Kanika Kapoor, who are among more than 150 celebrities and stars from the UAE and the Middle East.
The event, the first of its kind in the Middle East, will be hosted by the filmmaker Karan Johar and TV presenter Manish Paul, and will be preceded by a red-carpet event, where celebrities will meet and greet fans.
