Brawl at pub in Rajouri Garden

Date:

Arguments between two men in the washroom of a pub in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area erupted into a brawl, which abated only after the staff called the cops.

The arguments between the two men inside the washroom turned into a fight after their friends also got involved and then it went out of control last night.

Police today said they have identified the two main accused as Puneet and Arun.

The incident occurred last night around 10 pm when the two men, who had come to the mall with their friends, got into a fight.

“They both went into a toilet where an argument erupted between them over some issue. The argument grew bad and the duo got into a fist fight with each other. After this they called up their associates and the fight grew big.

“The mall administration then called up the police and a case was registered,” said a senior police official.

As soon as the matter was reported to the police, both sides left the the mall.

Police have acquired CCTV footage of the incident and are trying to identify others involved in the fight.

“No arrests or detentions have been made so far in this case. Two main accused are identified and a search is on to nab them. We are questioning the mall staff and screening CCTV cameras in order to be able to identify others. They will all soon be arrested,” the official said.
