New Delhi: With the time of Narendra Modi’s oath as India’s new Prime Minister approaching fast, it is no longer a matter of speculation that Bharat Lal, 1988 batch IFS officer of Gujarat cadre, would be among the first lot of officers to accompany Modi at PMO.
Reportedly, he would be entrusted with the key position of ensuring access to the Prime Minister. Interestingly when Modi gained momentum during elections campaign and Bharat Lal’s key role for Modi in Delhi started coming to lime-light, several senior officers in GoI were seen finding his executive record sheet & details in IAS civil list.
