BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was taken to Apollo hospital in Kolkata after he complained of chest pain on Wednesday, weeks after he underwent an angioplasty in another private hospital in Kolkata. The hospital however has released a statement saying that it was a routine check-up. Also that his vital parameters are stable and there is no change in the parameters since his last hospitalization.
Ganguly who is 48 was admitted to hospital on January 2nd after he had a blackout while he was on the treadmill at home. He underwent an emergency angioplasty and was in hospital for five days.

After being discharged from Woodlands hospital, he was monitored at home. The former team India cricket captain needed two to three weeks before going in for the next round of medical intervention.
Well known cardiologist Dr.Devi Shetty was being consulted for the former skipper’s treatment as part of the medical team of nine doctors.
Apart from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BCCI Secretary had visited Dada in hospital earlier in January.
