Senior diplomat Anurag Srivastava on Monday took charge as the new spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, succeeding Raveesh Kumar.

Srivastava, a 1999-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, was serving as India’s Ambassador to Ethiopia.
