New Delhi: Rescue operations are underway by the state and national disaster management teams after the incident of cloudburst reported near Amarnath Shrine.

- NDRF confirmed that 16 people have been reported dead after the incident of a cloudburst.
- Four NDRF teams with more than 100 rescuers are on site besides the Indian Army, BSF, SDRF, and CRPF.
- ITBP officials confirmed to ANI that the rescue operation has been intensified.
