Air Asia India appoints Pawan Setty as Head of People & Culture

AirAsia India on Wednesday announced the appointment of Pawan Setty to its senior management team, as the Head of People and Culture. With over 15 years of experience, Pawan has worked across multiple facets of HR such as organisation development, HR strategy, talent management and development, organisation change, compensation and benefits, and manpower planning.

Prior to this, Setty served as the Head of HR, India at International Flavours and Fragrances India Pvt Ltd, where he spent four years. Prior to that, he was with Thomson Reuters for nine years. Talent acquisition, building organisation culture and refining and implementing the right policies and procedures are some of the critical aspects that Pawan will be responsible for.

AirAsia India currently flies to 16 destinations with its hubs in Bengaluru, New Delhi and Kolkata covering Kochi, Goa, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Pune, Guwahati, Imphal, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Bagdogra, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar.
