Patna: Amid statewide protest over the Agnipath Scheme, the Centre has increased security arrangements for BJP leaders in the state on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, BJP leaders were targeted by mobs amid violent protests in different parts of Bihar. According to reports, centre has ramped up security for 10 BJP leaders in Bihar including Deputy CMs & MLAs. CRPF is taking over the security cover from today after it received the Home Ministry’s order.
Amid instances of protests and agitation by protestors, over 60 trains cancelled and two were terminated due to prevailing law and order problems and threat perception to railway property and passengers in Bihar confirmed East Central Railway.
