Aditya will be brought to the capital by tomorrow, Delhi Police said.
Earlier on 7 June, his last phone location was traced in Noida by Delhi Police during the investigation, before his phone was switched off on May 25. The investigation started after her mother, Deepa Tiwari, filed a missing-person complaint.
DCP (South district) Atul Kumar Thakur had told Indian Express on Saturday that his mother informed that her son allegedly posted a suicide-like note on Instagram on June 2. Police sources also said that they wrote letters to social media sites to give out certain information.
His last post reads, “Currently standing at an isolated bridge overlooking the Yamuna river where I could see the waves answering my distress call while giving me much needed perspective. I do not blame anyone for anything but myself. A relief from my own existence is gonna serve as a punishment that the entire country wanted.”
After which social media was flooded with posts and tweets saying #findmckode.
He was facing backlash for the controversial video of his rap battle that happened in 2016, where he uttered abuses against Mahabharta. He was also seen uttering offensive words against women. His other live video also went viral where he was accused of insulting the Indian Army. This went viral on social media and people demanded his arrest, to which, he later, apologized. The backlash and threats continued even after his apology, which led to his sudden disappearance.
