30-year-old man murdered, two arrested

New Delhi, Aug 18 (PTI) A 30-year-old man was foundmurdered with his throat slit in the DDA Park in Gandh Vihar,police said today. Shiv Kumari (45) and Mohammad Wasir were arrested fromtheir house today in connection with the murder of Rahul whosebody was found in the DDA Park in Gandhi Vihar, saidDCP(north) Madhur Verma. After investigation, it was found that Rahul had met ShivKumari in February this year at a a school where he drove abus while she was a teacher. The two allegedly got close, theofficer said. Rahul had also a friend Mohammad Wasir who used to workas a loader with a cold drink distributor company in OldDelhi. Through Rahul, Wasir also came in contact with ShivKumari, said the officer. Later, Rahul suspected that Shiv Kumari was cheating onhim and growing close to Wasir. He threatened Wasir and askedhim to stay away from Kumari. Irked by RahulÂ’s interference, Kumari met Wasir and theyallegedly planned to murder him. They also sought the help ofa local goon Ganja of Old Delhi Railway station to executetheir plan. As per the plan Rahul was invited by Shiv Kumari tomeet her at the Gandhi Vihar park where Ganja and Wasir werealready waiting for him. They allegedly caught hold of him andWasir used the string of his track pant to strangulate Rahulwho lost consciousness. His throat was slit by Wasir using aknife, he said.
