New Delhi: Disturbing images surface amidst the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, showing members of the Palestinian armed group Hamas parading the naked and battered body of a woman through the streets of Israel in the bed of a pickup truck.
Videos shared on social media depict a frenzied crowd surrounding the Hamas vehicle, with loud cries and spitting on the woman’s body.
Hamas initially asserted that the body belonged to a female Israeli soldier, as per news.com.au. However, Adi Louk later confirmed on X that the woman in the video was her sister, Shani Louk, a German citizen and a tattoo artist, as reported by the New York Post.
Shani Louk’s mother, in a video message shared by Visegrad 24 on X, verified her daughter’s identity and urged people to provide any additional information about her location.
The mother of Shani Louk, the woman whose body was seen on video in the back of a pick-up truck driven by Palestinian terrorists to Gaza, released a statement earlier today.

As per Shani’s first cousin, the woman had allegedly gone missing when militants seized control of an open-air festival on Saturday morning.
Verifying the woman’s identity, Shani’s cousin Tomasina Weintraub-Louk expressed optimism about receiving positive updates.
“It is indeed Shani. She was at a music festival for peace. This is a nightmare for our family,” news.com.au reported, citing the victim’s cousin Tomasina.
The music festival that Shani participated in was reportedly one of the initial locations targeted by Hamas militants.
The initial attack involved an extensive barrage of 5,000 rockets by the Hamas militant group on Israel on Saturday morning, followed by their infiltration into the country. These militants have also seized foreigners, with reports indicating that seven Nepalis were injured in Israel, and 17 were taken hostage by Hamas militants.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in approximately 500 casualties in both Israel and Palestine.
