New Delhi: Union Minister and former Army chief General VK Singh has stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will eventually unite with India “on its own”.
“PoK will merge with India on its own, wait for some time,” the Union minister for State said in response to a question during a press conference in Dausa, where he was addressing demands from Shia Muslims in PoK for the opening of border crossings with India.
The statement was made during a BJP Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (PSY) program.
The Union minister also discussed the achievements of the recently concluded G20 Summit, which took place under India’s presidency. He expressed that the summit’s impressive scale and impact have distinguished India on the global stage, demonstrating the nation’s capabilities and standing in the international arena.
“The G-20 summit was unparalleled and had never been attempted previously. India, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has demonstrated its prowess on a global scale. The G-20 comprises the most influential nations worldwide,” Mr Singh said.
Additionally, the minister strongly criticized the Rajasthan Government for the state’s deteriorating law and order conditions. He alleged that during the tenure of the present Congress government, the state has been plagued by a significant decline in law and order.
“This is precisely why the BJP found it necessary to conduct the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra, to engage with the public and understand their concerns. The citizens are seeking change, and they are joining us on this journey, resolute in their decision to bring about this change,” He said adding that the yatra is garnering significant public support across the state.
