Cardi B’s Controversial Microphone Up for Auction, Bids Reach $25,000

New Delhi: American rapper Cardi B has once again captured the media’s attention. However, this time it’s not for her music but due to a recent incident which occurred during her live performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.

The artist is currently the subject in a battery investigation as she threw her microphone at a fan, sparking controversies and raising questions about the incident.

The microphone that made headlines after being hurled at a fan is now up for auction on eBay. The microphone owned by a Vegas-based audio production company, The Wave, is auctioning off the microphone to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project and local charity Friendship Circle, a charity supporting children with special needs.

The microphone has garnered 27 bids on the auction site till now with the item currently listed at an impressive $25,000, as per media reports.

A clip shared on social media of the incident shows the fan who threw her drink at the singer, the fan can be seen apologising to the artist in the video. The security team can be seen swiftly making their way to the fan before escorting her away.

As per media reports, the woman who was hit by the microphone filed a report to the Las Vegas Metro PD to report the incident.
