While watching the video carefully, we noticed that people were holding flags that read BVB.

Running a keyword search along with a Reverse Image search with the keyframes of the video, we found that the same video was shared by a Twitter user on May 27, 2023, with the caption: #BVB – Mood? That’s right.

Moreover, the final match of IPL 2023 between CSK and GT was scheduled for May 28, 2023. However, it was shifted to May 29, 2023, due to heavy rains. This proves that the video was taken before the finals.

On searching further, we found that BVB or Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e. V. Dortmund, commonly known as Borussia Dortmund, is a German professional sports club based in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia.

We found that Borussia Dortmund played Mainz on May 27 for the Bundesliga — a professional association football league in Germany. However, a 2-2 home draw dropped them to second place in the season finale.

We found multiple videos on YouTube where a sea of tens of thousands of yellow and black-clad fans can be seen supporting Borussia Dortmund. The videos can be seen here, here and here.

Thus, from the above fact check, it is clear that the video is not of CSK fans in Ahmedabad.
