New Delhi: Tech giant Infosys moved to make its mark in the AI world as it launched its Artificial Intelligence platform Topaz on Tuesday.
Amid the ongoing contention on the future of AI and its impact on human lives, Infosys launched its AI platform based on generative technologies, which offers a diverse set of services, and solutions. In order to compete with rivals like Chat GPT and Google Bard, Topaz has been equipped with plenty of unique and upbeat features.
Topaz uses generative AI technologies and Infosys’ applied AI framework to create a framework that enables people to deliver cognitive solutions. Moreover, it aids its users in faster value creation.
In a statement, the tech major asserted, “Topaz, an AI-first offering, helps amplify the potential of humans, enterprises, and communities to tap into the next generation of opportunities to create value from unprecedented innovations, connected ecosystems, and pervasive efficiencies.”
Keeping in mind the backlash against generative AI and the debate on its effects, Infosys emphasized that Topaz uses a “responsible by design” approach.

The company further mentioned that Topaz will combine the capabilities of Infosys Cobalt cloud, data analytics, and AI to drive business growth. The system has been equipped to deliver quick AI-powered solutions and prompt responses.
