Performing a Google keyword search, we found several news reports related to statements made by Naresh Aggarwal. According to a news report by NDTV, dated July 19, 2017, “Samajwadi Party lawmaker Naresh Agarwal had the government benches in the Rajya Sabha up in angry protest today when he referred to Hindu Gods in comments that have been expunged or removed from records. The Upper House of Parliament had to be adjourned amid loud protests.”
Another report, dated July 19, 2017, says: Samajwadi Party MP Naresh Agarwal apologised in the House after making an objectionable statement about Hindu deities.
Searching further, we found out that in 2018 SP’s Naresh Agarwal joined BJP after he lost out on a Rajya Sabha nomination for Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket to actor Jaya Bachchan.
We could not find any recent credible media report stating that he made any such objectional statement recently.
