Hitler’s Photo:
The website of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum carries the image of children behind barbed wires, just like in Hitler’s image. But we could not see Hitler in the picture. According to the description of the image, these are the ‘Child survivors of Auschwitz, wearing adult-size prisoner jackets, stand behind a barbed wire fence.’
But a stock photo of Adolf Hitler on the stock photography site Alamy matches exactly with Hitler’s picture in the viral image, proving that the latter has been edited to place Hitler in front of children behind barbed wires.
Modi’s picture:
A tweet, dated May 2, 2023, on the official handle of the Indian News Agency — PTI, shows a video of Modi interacting with children behind barbed wires. The image caption informs that the incident happened during his visit to Kalaburagi in Karnataka.
So, it is clear that there is not relation between Modi’s image and the edited image of Hitler. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, comparing Modi and Hitler interacting with children behind barbed wires, is false.
